Wihlborgs acquires property in Lund

Wihlborgs has acquired the commercial property Bytarebacken 39 from HSB Skåne. The acquisition will take place in company form. Wihlborgs will take possession of the property on 29 December 2010.


The property is located in the center of Lund opposite the Railway Station and consists of two detached units and contains 15,400 sq.m. of shops and offices. 290 underground parking spaces are included in the property.

“We want to expand our property stock in Lund and the acquisition of Bytarebacken further strengthens our position in Lund”, says CEO Anders Jarl of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.

The property is fully leased and major tenants include Lund municipality, Capio community healthcare, ICA Sweden and Q-Park.

“After compensation for tax value in respect of the property our investment will amount to SEK 320 million. The net operating income for 2011 will amount to SEK 20 million”, adds Anders Jarl.
