Wihlborgs sells Malmö property to JM
Wihlborgs has reached agreement with JM to sell a development property, Nils 24, in the Värnhem area of Malmö. The property has a site area of 3,600 sq. m. and is being sold as freehold. Planning permission has been granted for 11,000 sq. m. of residential housing.
The property was not suitable for commercial development. Now a local plan for housing development has been produced instead, which was passed in December 2011.
The purchase price is SEK 41million and the sale is as a property deal. Access will be in Q1 2012.
“The property was part of our acquisition of Tornet in 2006. In partnership with JM, we have enhanced the property to achieve its current value via local planning work," said Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.
“The deal is the result of our close working relationship on the development of the Dockan area in Malmö,” added Anders Jarl.
