Wihlborgs continues to grow
- Result for the period amounts to SEK 629 million (417), per share SEK 8.18 (5.43)
- Rental income increased by 7 per cent to SEK 802 million (753)
- Operating surplus increased by 5 per cent to SEK 577 million (550)
- Income from property management increased by 2 per cent to SEK 353 million (347).
”During the second quarter Wihlborgs letting has been extremely strong and new contracts amounted to SEK 60 million”, comments Anders Jarl CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter. “As a result, we managed to offset the major lease termination by Malmö University, representing a loss of SEK 30 million. Net letting for the quarter totalled SEK +5 million and for the period SEK 10 million.”
”Despite that economic growth in the region has not yet gained momentum
on a larger scale, we can report strong growth in both rental income and operating surplus”, continues Anders.
”With the acquisition of ten properties in the Ideon-area we are taking a firm grip on the market in Lund and will now become the sole property owner of Ideon”, concludes Anders Jarl.
