Länsförsäkringar moves to Dockan in Malmö

Wihlborgs has signed a lease for six floors in the Gängtappen property with Länsförsäkringar Skåne.


Wihlborgs has signed a lease with Länsförsäkringar Skåne, which means that Länsförsäkringar will leave their current offices in the Uven 9 block located on Lugna Gatan by Stadshuset (Malmö City Hall) to move into premises of 5,200 m2 in Gängtappen.

"We are extremely proud and pleased that Länsförsäkringar is continuing its long-lived partnership with Wihlborgs, when the company has now chosen to change premises," says Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.

The Gängtappen property was built in 1958 as the head office for Kockums and which, with its 15 storeys and unique design, comprises a Malmö landmark. At the end of the year, the current tenant, Saab Kockums, is moving its operations to another of Wihlborgs' properties in Dockan.

"We are going to completely renovate Gängtappen, which will remain a modern property with decades of history ingrained in the walls. And since Länsförsäkringar is leasing six floors, eight floors are currently available for other companies," concludes Anders Jarl.
