Successful issue by Nya SFF
In January Wihlborgs together with Fabege, Platzer, Diös, and Catena launched an MTN-program amounting to SEK 8,000m via the co-owned company Nya Svensk FastighetsFinansiering AB (Nya SFF).
For Wihlborgs Nya SFF is an efficient way to access the capital markets via secured MTN and a way to broaden the funding base for the company.
On February 16, Nya SFF launched a bond issue which quickly was fully subscribed. Bonds totaling SEK 2,025m are issued on tenors from 2 to 5 years, with both floating and fixed interest rates. Of the total, Wihlborgs will borrow SEK 1,343m.
Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB, Catena AB, Diös Fastigheter AB, Fabege AB and Platzer Fastigheter Holding AB are the joint owners of Nya Svensk FastighetsFinansiering AB with 20 percent each.
“We are very happy about the strong interest from the capital markets and that the first issue by Nya SFF was so successful. Through Nya SFF we have now started using an additional source of financing complementing the current funding structure”, comments Arvid Liepe, CFO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.
