Wihlborgs signs lease with Optimera in Lund

Wihlborgs has signed a lease with Optimera for the construction of 3 000 m² retail premises at Gastelyckan in eastern Lund.

Construction will start after the summer and occupancy is planned for October 2018. Optimera will lease the premises on a fifteen-year contract. Wihlborgs’ investment will amount to SEK 32 million and the yield is estimated at 6,5 percent for the first year.

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with Optimera. A couple of years ago we built a new store for Optimera in Helsingborg and of course we are pleased that they have chosen Wihlborgs also for the new store in Lund”, says Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.

“We have had a fantastic development on our site in Lund, but now we have reached a point where we no longer can continue to grow and serve our customers in the best way. It is great that we can make this investment together with Wihlborgs and we are looking forward to welcoming existing and new customers to Lund’s best hardware store for professionals”, says Magnus Detterholm, CEO of Optimera.

Optimera is one of Sweden’s leading hardware store chains with some 50 stores in southern Sweden.
