Wihlborgs signs four new agreements for Gängtappen
The new tenants are Hypergene AB (1,320 m²), Proact IT Sweden AB (364 m²), Noda Intelligent Systems AB (298 m²) and Hoya Lens Sweden AB (484 m²). Moreover, it was confirmed in March that Media Evolution City is moving into 1,800 m² in Gängtappen’s two lowest floors, where it will offer meeting places, food, service and co-working space.
“Seeing Gängtappen fill up with even more growing companies is gratifying. Together with Media Evolution City’s expansion at this location, this means the building will be a lively environment that will enable even more encounters between those working in the building and people from other parts of town who want to utilise the historic building’s new platform. Moreover, we’re moving Wihlborgs itself into two floors this summer,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.
“We chose Gängtappen because of the exciting and dynamic environment that is emerging there, and because we are certain that our employees will both like it and develop there. Moreover, the premises provide us with excellent conditions for our continued growth,” says Per Hidenius, CEO of Hypergene.
Gängtappen, located in the Dockan area of Malmö, was built in 1958 as the head office for Kockums. In summer 2015, SAAB Kockums moved out and thereafter, Wihlborgs completely renovated the building with a focus on sustainability. The building has been environmentally certified in line with SGBC Silver. Only 250 m² remains to be let in the building.
