Wihlborgs modernises for Nordea in Malmö

Nordea is extending its lease at Östersjön 1 on Carlsgatan in central Malmö for ten years. The premises will now be modernised and the layout improved to create an even better customer experience.

The lease is for 5,500 square metres and extends for ten years, with occupancy scheduled for 1 February 2024.

Among other improvements, the new layout will provide Nordea’s customers with a dedicated entrance and the customer spaces will refurbished.

The property is certified to Miljöbyggnad iDrift silver, has beehives and solar panels on the roof, and will be equipped with Wihlborgs’ own energy innovation that works with existing district heating and cooling systems to recycle heat and cold at the property.

“Together with Nordea, we have given the premises a new design that will revitalise the property for the benefit of Nordea’s employees and customers. We are pleased to continue our partnership with a long-term agreement,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
