A lively and dynamic place

We want to capture the energy and interaction that takes place outside the Stock Exchange today and bring it inside. With a mix of offices, conference facilities and a restaurant, we want to create a lively and dynamic place.

New front facade

In the Stock Exchange's ground floor, you and your visitors will be greeted by a beautiful courtyard. Here, we will create a welcoming lobby with a shared reception. The back of the Stock Exchange will become the front, with a restaurant and lovely terraces facing the water and the Malmö Live area.

Preserve and highlight the building's character

In 2023, we will begin the transformation of the Stock Exchange, which is now going to become the pearl it deserves to be. With the transformation, we want to preserve and highlight the building's character and history, while upgrading the standard to a modern and energy-efficient building.

The city's new center

The Stock Exchange is located right next to Malmö Central Station (Malmö C) and the canal. The area around the Stock Exchange and the train station will become the city's new center, called Nyhamnen. As Nyhamnen grows, the center of will Malmö shift and the Stock Exchange will take on a more prominent position. The building becomes a landmark for both locals and visitors to the city.
