Wihlborgs acquires 39,000 m2 in Denmark
Wihlborgs acquires four office properties in Ballerup from Magistrenes Pensionskasse.
Wihlborgs is to pay DKK 250 million and the possession takes place 1 March. Vacancies are 50 per cent and the initial return will give five per cent.
– After several years of negative economic growth in Denmark, there are now signs that it has bottomed out and the optimism is back. Therefore, it feels right to now expand our portfolio in Denmark, says Anders Jarl, CEO, Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.
– Our strategy is to concentrate on selected sub-markets, and Herlev/Ballerup are two of these. We are pleased to acquire properties with a development potential. By 2015 we expect the return will give us around seven per cent, continues Anders Jarl.
Wihlborgs owns and manages, after this acquisition, a total of 155,000 m² in Herlev and Ballerup.
