Wihlborgs signs a rental agreement with Schneider Electric Denmark

One month ago Wihlborgs acquired four office properties in Ballerup outside Copenhagen. At the same time Wihlborgs had a negotiation with Schneider Electric Denmark concerning a rental for 14 000 m², i.e. the entire property Lautrupvang 1 in Ballerup. A 12-years lease has now been signed with occupancy on 1 February 2015. Schneider Electric Denmark is moving together several of their operations in Denmark and forms a new headquarter where approximately 500 people will be working in a modern energy-optimized building. 

– One of the significant properties in Lautrupparken will now go through a major renovation in order to deliver an environmental and technologically up-to-date property, says Anders Jarl, CEO, Wihlborgs Fastigheter. 

Thomas Träger, Country President of Schneider Electric Denmark A/S, adds:

– Our new house will be a modern workplace which helps to support a dynamic and positive work culture where well-being and good indoor air quality is in focus. At the same time we aim to turn the building into a showcase of new technology that is needed to ensure optimal energy efficiency.
