At the turn of the year, International Workplace Group (IWG) – the world’s largest hybrid workspace platform with brands including Spaces and Regus – will launch a new Spaces centre in Wihlborgs’ new Vista (Bläckhornet 1) production in Hyllie, Malmö. Vista will thereby offer 1,500 square metres of hybrid workspace and shared services to established firms and start-ups, and offer resources such as a staffed reception and access to large conference rooms – resources that are currently in high demand. The lease extends for four years.

Press release (pdf)Tech company Advania Sweden is co-locating two Malmö offices to Magasinet (Hamnen 22:188) in Nyhamnen. Magasinet is a carefully renovated old granary in a prime location in this emerging district. The move is in September 2025 and the five-year lease encompasses 1,900 square metres.

Press release (pdf)In May, the Varv restaurant and bakery opens at Media Evolution’s premises (Ubåten 2) in Dockan in central Malmö. The people behind this venture – “a new culinary voice in Malmö” – are Benjamin van Stellingwerff, with a background at two Michelin star restaurant Vyn and the popular Malmö restaurant Ruths, and Gent Berisha, who is also from Ruths. Head chef Francesco Mascellani has worked in Copenhagen at restaurants such as Calma, Levi and Mangia.

Wihlborgs 2024 year-end report (pdf)Wihlborgs is acquiring seven property companies with eight properties from Granitor with a transfer of ownership on 1 April 2025. The portfolio consists of the Perrongen 1 (Clarion Hotel SeaU) and Regula 1 (including Scandic hotels) investment properties in Helsingborg, the Kajutan 1, Sjömannen 1 and Sjömannen 2 investment properties in Malmö and the Jöns Petter Borg 16 investment property in Lund as well as the Brysselkålen 1 and Jöns Petter Borg 15 development properties in Lund. The goal is to strengthen Wihlborgs’ existing clusters in the Swedish areas and to offer new opportunities to tenants.

By moving to the newly built premises in central Lund, HSB Skåne aims to create a modern workplace with good collaboration conditions.
